Taffy

Taffy was my first attempt at fostering a rescue dog.  In March 2007 I got an email from a lady at the Lloydminster SPCA, asking if there was anybody in Alberta that could take this poor, blind Cocker in as a rescue.  I took the challenge.  Taffy was stinky, ungroomed and pretty scared . . . but that didn't last long.

I got her all cleaned up, taught her about living life as a spoiled dog, and got her housetrained.  Taffy was spayed and fully vetted, thanks to support from Life's Little Paws, Cockers in Need and other anonymous donors.  Thanks to everybody that gave this girl a fighting chance!

Very good family friends of ours came over for supper one night, met Taffy, and decided to try having her stay with them.  After just 2 weeks, they decided that she was the dog for them.  She is now being loved and spoiled by Rick and Karen, and I get to see her often.
