KLAD Cockers is located in Northeastern Alberta. I have been involved in showing dogs since I got Farley in 1999. I am also involved in obedience training and therapy dog work, as well as being a big supporter of Cocker Spaniel Rescue. I have shown several dogs to their Canadian championship titles, as well as earning American and Canadian obedience and rally titles and CGC/CGN titles. I am a regular contributor to Dogs in Canada and the Cocker Classic magazine. I am a proud member of the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada and the American Spaniel Club.  I am also an obedience instructor and Canine Good Neighbour evaluator in my community, as well as a member of the PAWSfm Therapy Group.  I am the Secretary of the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada, and the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Fort McMurray SPCA..

My dogs are pets first - anything else they accomplish is simply icing on the cake. My dogs are raised with kids, and they learn from an early age that at our house it's survival of the fittest! I do not believe in limiting the lives of show dogs, so my dogs play in the yard, go swimming, and sleep on the bed.

Enjoy the website, and please contact me if you have any questions about my dogs, or about Cockers in general.
